Economic and military wars for the possession of resources are motivated by power extension and the maximising of
profit. These wars want a publicly acceptable pretext, which is then to be dispersed with the full range of propaganda
tools. The actual purpose is disguised as „progress“, „prosperity’ or ’anti terror“. These wars not only destroy biotopes
and landscapes, but any form of culture. A result of wars different-looking places emerge, but all of them are devoid of
culture, desolate, and hostile to life. In essence, these places are deserts.
The video, in a play with sand, shows the basic pattern in the creation of these deserts.
